ELLIVOTE & LullSiSH won’t see stage in 2019 for Justice

The Washington Justice turned to a European duo in hopes of bolstering their tank line going into stage four of the Overwatch League. The tank duo of off-tank Elliot “ELLIVOTE” Vaneryd and main tank Lukas “LullSiSH” Wiklund had years of history together after a successful run in Contenders Europe with Angry Titans and in Contenders North America on Team Envy.

Washington Justice VP of Esports Business Grant Paranjape took to Twitter to give an update on the status of the players after many expected to see ELLIVOTE and LullSiSH with the team by stage four week three..

The Washington Justice have been making trades throughout the season to help upgrade their lineup. Since the start of the season they acquired Hong “ArK” Yeon-joon from the New York Excelsior and Nikola “sleepy” Andrews from the San Francisco Shock. After almost exclusively playing together for over two years on three different teams ELLIVOTE and LullSiSH were looking to bring consistency to the tank line who have been marred with issues throughout the season. Unfortunately for the Justice due to how long the visa process takes the tank duo will be cheering on the team from Sweden and won’t see any stage time for the Washington Justice this season.

The Washington Justice are ranked 19th in the league standings and have already been eliminated for this season’s playoffs. Justice opened up their stage four with a 3:1 victory over Toronto Defiant. Their remaining opponents include Florida Mayhem, Vancouver Titans, Boston Uprising, Houston Outlaws, Atlanta Reign, and Paris Eternal which should put Washington in a favorable position to at least match their stage one through stage three win record.
